Ana's Dance Recital

The pink & black costumes were adorable for the 'GREASE' jazz/hip hop classes, Ana was in 'Born to hand jive'. Loved it! This is her backstage, she was standing in the prop for another dance number.

BEWARE: I am disgusted by this room, ughh! Even more disgusted that Ana thinks it is totally fine! The clutter does not bother her in the least....I could not even walk in there though, so she had to pull everything out and we spent an afternoon organizing and getting rid of 'stuff '

A Happy Mother's Day Indeed

Mother's Day brunch with Nana & Papa, playing, reading and a movie! It was another full weekend. On Sat. Ana and I were in Savannah with her brownie troop while Grayson and Daddy attended some friends birthday parties and Katie bugs graduation party. Sunday after brunch it was a hot 90 degrees so we picked a movie over swimming. We saw Earth to Ana's dismay (she begged for Hannah Montana movie) to which I said, Mother's Day ~ my choice, Kid's Day ~ your choice. To which she replied, "there's no such thing as kids day!" My reply: "Every day is kids day!" ha

The blessings of a 6 and 8 year old:

*They cherish their friends, though not yet on facebook, phones, etc.
*Still BELIEVE in santa and the easter bunny (not sure for how much longer though!).
*They LIKE going to school, and LOVE coming home.
*Old enough to make themselves something for breakfast, young enough to still snuggle with us.



*Every night Grayson lays out the clothes he is going to wear the next day (he is particular about matching).
*Ana sometimes reads a whole chapter book before going to sleep (current favorite is Katie Kazoo).

6 and 8 is GREAT!

The cutest, most comfy, last forever clothes (& PJ's) I have ever found! Nothing compares! I just pulled out 2 spring Hanna outfits and it will be Ana's 3rd year to wear them!

 

Ana's love of baking!

Ana's cookbook from her Aunt Dawn, she loves baking now and prefers to be in the kitchen by herself. She has made cinnamon rolls and muffins this past week!






She picks out muffins she wants to make at the store and does these all by herself now!
